Telugu sweet heart, 5' 5" tall, Ileana D'Cruz, who hails from Mumbai, India. Ileana D'Cruz was born omn August 19, 1987 in a Christian Family. Her father is a christian and mother Sameera was a Muslim before the marriage, after the marriage she embraced Christianity. She has three sisters and two brothers. Her parents named her name after Ileana From greek mythology. After completing graduation she joined films. From her childhood itself she dreamed to become an actress. Modeling and advertisements gave her a good platform for her entry into the movie world. The director of Ileana’s debut movie spotted her from a popular fairness cream advertisement film and gave her the offer in his movie. She made her Telugu language dйbut through Y.V.S. Chowdhary's Devadasu. Ileana got many offers after that film and she instantly became a hot property in Tollywood. At one point she was top actress in Tollywood.
Her breakthrough came with her second Telugu film where she essayed the role of Shruti opposite Mahesh Babu in the immensely successful Pokiri. She is considered as a hardworking and sincere actress. In one of the interviews to a TV channel, Mahesh babu himself praised her talents and co-operation in the sets.
Ileana is currently working in Telugu, Tamil and hindi film industries. But her main career is in tollywood only.
